Made in America Monday: Meet Noubar

When I found out about Noubar bags from USA Love List, I just knew this was a company I had to share with you.  Get this:  Noubar makes fantastic clutches out of old billboards.  Yes, you read that correctly.  Billboards.

The brainchild of two sisters whose family owned and operated an outdoor advertising company in Ohio, Noubar repurposes vinyl from former ad campaigns to create stunning one-of-a-kind handbags. Since the original billboards are about the size of a NYC apartment, the images are completely unidentifiable on the scale of a handbag; instead the pixilated images create rich, powerful, dramatic color combinations.  The result:  little pieces of art, that are stunning, functional, and completely wearable.  Noubar bags easily transition from day to night, are environmentally-friendly, made in the USA, and super-chic...what's not to love?

Here are some of my favorites:
I'm kind of dying for the black and white one.  So cool.  Which is your favorite?

xoxo

Jenny

PS- "Noubar bags are proudly sourced, designed, created, and manufactured in the USA." Love that!

Made in America Monday

Hey, remember when I used to post EVERY Monday for my "Made in America Monday" series?

Neither do I.

Oh and I do know that today is Thursday.  I'm not that far gone... yet.

I also know that I already posted today.  Don't worry, I'm still in possession of the few marbles I have left.  Think of this bonus post as an early Easter gift to you.  #yourewelcome

What I have to share was just too good to pass up.

We all know how much I love USA Love List, so when I read this post about Venley (amazingly priced men's and women's clothing that is made in Los Angeles), I had to share it with you.  I mean, we are talking discounts on already great prices AND a giveaway with 20 winners, it would be completely selfish of me to not pay it forward.

So here's the scoop:

Go here, to get the skinny on Venley's #occupyyourcloset twitter giveaway.

Use offer code "USALoveList" to save 35% (that is not a typo) at www.wearvenley.com

Know that I am buying this (at 35% off) as soon as I am done with this post.

And last, but certainly not least:  Wear American, Buy American, and Occupy Your Closet.

Have a great Easter weekend kiddos!

Hope the bunny brings you some sweet treats!

Made in America Mondays ~ Volume 2

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and Veteran's Day!  Welcome to week two of Made in America Mondays!  Today I would love to introduce you to the American made brand Soy Delicious - Soy Candle and Moisturizer in One.  No really, it's a candle AND a moisturizer.  How cool is that?

13.5oz Tumbler
Cafe Con Leche
Soy Delicious candles offer a personal spa experience in the comfort of your own home.  Did you know that soy contains Vitamin E and antioxidant properties both of which are known for their hydrating power?  Here is how it works: once the candle liquefies, dip your finger or dipping spoon into the soy and use the oil as a rich moisturizing rub to keep hands, feet, cuticles and elbows feeling soft and luxurious. Don’t worry, the soy is only slightly warmer than your body temperature, but you may want to blow out the candle first to avoid being burned by the flame. (Just a helpful tip).  When the candle has been completely burned, the 13.5 oz. tumbler can be washed with soap and warm water and used as a drinking glass to serve your favorite beverage.  Bonus!

Soy Delicious Moisturizing Candles are made using 100% pure soy– not paraffin wax. Soy wax is derived from soybeans, a renewable resource that makes these candles eco-friendly.  Their high concentration of fragrance oils ensure an amazing scent that burns evenly and cleanly for up to 80 hours with virtually no smoke or soot.  They are environmentally sensitive, non-carcinogenic, non-toxic, dye-free and have cotton core lead-free wicks, which keep the candles as natural as possible.

Soy Delicious offers approximately 20 flavors and two enjoyable sizes.

The smaller tin is a great option for travel, stocking suffers and the perfect way to try several aromas.  It retails for $7.00.  The larger glass candle offers 80 hours of luxurious burn time and retails for $34.00.  Note:  it is not necessary to burn these candles for more than 20 minutes at a time, the aroma stays in the air for a very long time.

2oz Tin Size
Island Mango

Enjoy 10% off of your order with the code VOTE10.  These make great gifts!  Happy Shopping!

Order here.

And remember, it pays to support American brands and products!

xoxo
