Made in America Monday: Second Base

How many articles of clothing are hanging in your closet unworn simply because they are too sheer, too low cut, or you don't have the right bra for them?  Probably tons.

Well, I have found the solution for all of your problems, ok not all of them, but at least most of your boobie-related ones...

I'd like to introduce you do the camisole motherload otherwise known as Second Base.

Let's get real here, if you name your camisole company Second Base, I'm going to like you right from the get-go.  My twisted sense of humor can't get enough of that kind of snark.  Couple that humor with a fantastic product that makes me smack myself in the forehead and say "why didn't I think of that?" and then make that product right here in the USA, and you've got yourself a winner, winner chicken dinner type of situation.

Second Base is your one-stop shop for any camisole you might need.  They come in a variety of lengths, colors, and necklines to work with any outfit.   The demi is perfect for coverage of cleavage and bra and is great for layering without the bulk.  The midi styles are ideal to wear under a sheer blouse and the longer maxis camis are a game changer when it comes to leggings (think: no show camel toe).

Here's how it works:

Easy.  Peasy.

I couldn't wait to try one.  Second Base sent me the Janie in sky blue and I instantly fell in love.  It adds just the right amount of coverage and a fun pop of color to this low-cut cowl neck sweater from H&M:

Sizing tip:  I wear a 32D and the small fits perfectly.
Love it as much as I do?  Dying to get your hand on one?  Today just might be your lucky day.  I'm teaming up with Second Base and USA Love List for a fantastic giveaway!  Woot!  Woot!

One lucky lady will win one item of her choosing from Second Base, so take some time to shop around Second Base, see what you like, and enter for your chance to win one of your own (up to a $48 value)!

Made in America Monday: Zkano Socks

Before we know it, sandals and flip flops will be put away, and boot season will be upon us.  I don't know about you, but I usually opt for a few new pairs of socks each fall - and this fall, I'm most excited about my blue and cream striped pair from Zkano:

Made in America Monday: Botanicals for Hope (Giveaway!)

Happy Monday Kiddos!

Another weekend has bit the dust.  Doesn't it seem like summer is just flying by?!  Ugh - make it stop!

I'm teaming up with USA Love List once again to introduce you to a fantastic American-made, eco-friendly skin care line that not only supports our local economy but gives back to a worthy cause.  Botanicals for Hope truly is "skincare that cares"- a portion of their sales go to help to patients battling cancer.

This natural skincare line is aloe vera based and loaded with therapeutic plant based oils and butters, medicinal herbs, and healing botanical essences that leave skin feeling soft, supple and healthy.  They are formulated without soy, dye, fragrance, or petrochemicals and are not tested on animals.  Natural skin care that's good for your body, our economy, and the planet?  That gives back to cancer patients with every product sold?  What's not to love?!

And I can happily give it my personal seal of approval!  I got to try their intense therapy balm and it is awesome!  It's supposed to be for your cuticles, but I've been putting it everywhere:  knees, elbows, and my poor dry feet!  I've tried all kinds of lotions, and body butters on my feet and nothing seemed to help until I tried this stuff.  My heels have FINALLY stopped cracking!  Love it!  They definitely found themselves a new customer!
Dying to try it?  Shop now.  Feeling lucky?  We're giving away a $50 shop credit!   Contest runs through Thursday, July 25.

Made in America Monday

Hey, remember when I used to post EVERY Monday for my "Made in America Monday" series?

Neither do I.

Oh and I do know that today is Thursday.  I'm not that far gone... yet.

I also know that I already posted today.  Don't worry, I'm still in possession of the few marbles I have left.  Think of this bonus post as an early Easter gift to you.  #yourewelcome

What I have to share was just too good to pass up.

We all know how much I love USA Love List, so when I read this post about Venley (amazingly priced men's and women's clothing that is made in Los Angeles), I had to share it with you.  I mean, we are talking discounts on already great prices AND a giveaway with 20 winners, it would be completely selfish of me to not pay it forward.

So here's the scoop:

Go here, to get the skinny on Venley's #occupyyourcloset twitter giveaway.

Use offer code "USALoveList" to save 35% (that is not a typo) at www.wearvenley.com

Know that I am buying this (at 35% off) as soon as I am done with this post.

And last, but certainly not least:  Wear American, Buy American, and Occupy Your Closet.

Have a great Easter weekend kiddos!

Hope the bunny brings you some sweet treats!
